Improving.
Baldur's Gate was okay.
7 months ago38 hours of Path of the Righteous and only two achievements. Odd.
7 months agoI'm back.
7 months agoEnergized. Soup is life.
1 year agoMeandering a bit.
1 year agoBasil.
1 year agoSundays without Alchemy of Souls before bed make me wistful.
1 year agoCompletely disregarded the thesis of the last statement. Anyway, bash is an interesting and complex tool that I've been underusing. If anything, the course was worth it for the practice in a semi-real production setting.
1 year agoFinished Google IT Automation with Python. Can never learn too much of anything. I felt like I was forever stuck ignoring bash scripting. According to the certificate "[I] should have a strong foundation in how to use Git and GitHub, troubleshoot and debug complex problems, and apply automation at scale by using configuration management and the Cloud in order to prepare them for more advanced IT Support Specialist or Junior Systems Administrator positions." While this is all true, every job posting is asking for so many different skills and technologies. I feel like I confidently meet 70% of expectations. Do people apply for jobs with that? I have never lied to get a job. Definitely been too honest.
1 year agoUp too late again feeling my feelings. Calm.
1 year agoThis seems to be for humans: python.requests. There's something pleasant about POST requests that I wish I could discern in human interaction. Shout 201 if what I said made sense.
1 year agoSeriously, I thought I knew a lot of things but taking a class is always humbling. Syntax-wise, specially. Some python lambda functions and some comprehensions look alien. When they suddenly click and the logic makes sense, I can feel my brain chemistry altering. My brain is mush. At this point it must have the consistency of jello abandoned in the sun.
1 year agoNearly finished with Google's Automating Real-World Tasks with Python from Coursera. It's been a thing.
1 year agoHaving a great day.
1 year agoBrand new & looking for direction.
